A new Fox News poll finds Presdent Obama leading Mitt Romney by seven points nationally, 46% to 39%. Just three weeks ago the candidates were tied at 46%.

The finding is the reverse of a New York Times/CBS News poll put out earlier this week which found Romney moving into a lead.

On May 16, the South Carolina Senate unanimously passed a bill to provide for a more rational system for candidates to file for primaries. However, the bill would have no effect on this year’s problem. See this story.

A new study released by the Brookings Institution argues that Mitt Romney's Mormon religion is unlikely to hurt him at the polls in November.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) told supporters he will not seek a House seat in Washington state this year after losing a primary to a fellow Democrat earlier this year, Roll Call reports.
