What abou a new re-run of the 2008 elections?

I would like someone really experienced to moderate this whole roleplay scenario!

Is there anyone who supports this re-run?? =)

See the 2008 Election Game thread; although as of now I believe you can only join as an independent.

Rules and Claims are there, while the campaign itself is here. It's too late to get into the primaries, but you can run as Baldwin/Nader/Keyes/McKinney or whatever.

Point is, not a Dem or Rep.

BTW, we could actually have a Green party primary or something like that. That'd be kinda cool.

You could. I won't be running as a Green, of course, because: IC: I am completely committed to winning the Democratic Party nomination.
OOC: I'll probably end up on a Paul/Gravel (L) ticket or something.

Also, I was thinking about doing a 2000 or 2016 one of these if this one works.

By all means you should do one, these games are incredibly engaging.

I think I would like to see the 2000 game first, just to see the fields in both parties (having people like Quayle, Elisabeth Dole or Paul Wellstone running would be curious).

If I don't win, I shall seek the nomination of the Libertarians. It's looking good for me in Iowa Wink. I like the prospect of a 2000 game after this one, since we did a 2016 game earlier in the year.

So, everyone agree that we should have a 2000 simulation again? What about a 2004?

A 2004 game? I don't know, I suppose it's better when both fields are open (or with the current VP running) like 2000 or 2008. While the idea of someone challenging Bush in a primary game is interesting, the 2000 game allows for a more varied set of outcomes.

Ok ok, we go with 2000. I hope that we have someone opposing Gore... =\
