I’m sorry it took so long.  I had one that I was working on and it got lost Sad  In this one, I took some of the wording from MHS2002’s initiative:

1) Abortions shall be illegal after the first trimester except in cases of rape and incest, which will be legal through the second trimester, and when the mother’s life is at risk, which will always be legal.

2) An individual who induces a prohibited abortion shall have any and all existing medical license(s) from the Midwest Region, or a subdivision thereof, revoked for up to five years.

3) Any physician who performs an illegal abortion shall be fined $500,000 or sentenced to a maximum of five years in prison.  Any person knowingly facilitating the inducement of an illegal abortion shall be subject to a maximum criminal fine of $150,000.

I know some people want abortion to be completely illegal, but I’ve decided I’d like to just limit it in my initiative.  If someone else would like to introduce a proposition that would completely illegalize abortion, I will sign it.

You really should label it the Midwest Abortion Proposition, because although it limits abortions, it doesn't really get rid of them altogether.  The title is sort of misleading.

Although I am undecided on this, I do believe it should be voted on.
