Mr. Moderate's first law of politics: When the Democratic candidate starts campaigning on the issue of abortion, they're running a doomed campaign.

Not the Democratic candidate.

Brady has some pretty extreme votes, routinely willing to be one of two or three state legislators to vote a certain way on a bill, makes sense to mention his opposition to funding domestic abuse programs, requiring insurance coverage of mammograms for women over 40, etc., in that light imo.
