He really needs to stop the empty-quoting.

Seriously, nobody cares if you agree with somebody and have nothing else to add to their post.  It's post padding, and it's utterly useless.

...

Now, let's see how many people will empty-quote this post in an attempt to appear, like, totally original and sooo hilaaarious.

I agree with Joe on this.

In looking at his posting history, I hope he writes more substantive posts expressing his views on some of the politics boards.   Since he's a lefty he'll fit right in Wink  It's ok to empty quote occasionally if you're adding a lot of substance as well.

Well, granted he is rather new and doesn't understand all the rules of Atlas etiquette, but that will come in time, hopefully.

For that reason, I refrained from voting 'HP'.

Abstain, he's a rabid Empty-Quoter, but he is new, and will probably grow out of it when he realizes it isn't really in the norm to do so.

FF, very nice.

I agree with Joe about empty quoting...and I do it occasionally too.  Someone had to mention it to me -- that it was annoying to some people -- before I really caught on.  It actually is a very cheap kind of post padding.

So first, apologies for when I have done it.

And I expect Hawkeye will curtail this as his time here progresses.  He's had a number of decent posts, too.

I'll let that slide, Xahar, as long as you hurry up and post your VP announcement speech in the 2012 election thread.

I totally don't remember why....or even when.  Weird.  I'll take him off.
