1964- Johnson is re-elected in a landslide.
1968- John F. Kennedy is elected president in a narrow victory over Richard Nixon.
1972- George Romney is elected president of the United States over incumbant Pres. Kennedy.
1976- Edward Kennedy is elected president of the USA in a landslide over Pres. Romney
1980- President Kennedy is re-elected president over Republican Ronald Reagan.
1984- George HW Bush is elected president over Democrat Jimmy Carter.
1988- George HW Bush is re-elected president over Michael Dukakis.
1992- Bill Clinton is elected president over Bob Dole.
1996- Jack Kemp is elected president over President Clinton.
2000- Jack Kemp is re-elected president over Bill Bradley.
2004- John McCain is elected president over Senator Hillary Clinton.
2008- John McCain declined to run for a 2nd term and Barack Obama is elected president of the United States over Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.
2010--Most of the same people would be in office as of now and there would only be 3 differences in major legislative figures and cabinet members.

1. Secretary of State would be Colin Powell as he never would have been secretary of state in 2000.
2. Senate Minority leader would be John Kerry as Harry Reid would have run in the presidential primaries in 2000 and list to Bill Bradley for the nomination and lost popularity and yet John Kerry would be the choice for Senate Majority Leader.
3. Defense Secretary would be William Cohen as Donald Rumsfeld woul dnever have had to resign since the Iraq war would not have happened. Thus, after McCain left office William Cohen would have been Obama's choice.

Nope-Probaly would be the same, depending on running mate.

1964- Johnson is reelected in a landslide.

Not a landslide, but a decent margin. Kennedy never being assassinated, would not give LBJ the symphony votes he got. Bigger margin over Goldwater, then Rocky.

Depends-If Rocky was the nominee, then it would be Reagan, if Goldwater was the prior nominee, then Rocky or Nixon.

Nope-It would defiantly be Reagan in '72.

What happened to Bobby? And Chappawhateva incident? Romney might have difficulty, being a Mormon.

In 1976-80? No-Whoever was the incubnet in those year would lose. It would be like Bush during his 2005-08 years.

1984- George HW Bush is elected president over Democrat Jimmy Carter.
Bush would be the nominee, but Carter becoming President without Watergate is impossible. More likely to be Mondale, Udall, or Glenn.

1988- George HW Bush is reelected president over Michael Dukakis.

Yes. That would be inevitable.

1992- Bill Clinton is elected president over Bob Dole.

Bob Dole would be sacrificed. Cuomo or Gore are alternatives to Clinton, though he would win regardless.

1996- Jack Kemp is elected president over President Clinton.

How would Clinton lose this? Clinton would be reelected, as it is too early for Monicagate.

2000- Jack Kemp is reelected president over Bill Bradley.

Gore would trump Bradley, though I cant determine if he would beat Kemp or not.

2004- John McCain is elected president over Senator Hillary Clinton.
Seeing as her husband lost reelection in this timeline, she wouldn't try it, at least if a incumbent was in. Kerry,Wellstone (if he lives),Dean, or Clark are the big shots for the nominees.

2008- John McCain declined to run for a 2nd term and Barack Obama is elected president of the United States over Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.

Seeing the economy being the way it was, this wouldn't suprise me.

I'd agree more with Sanchez at this point, but Colin Powell can easily be made a Democrat in a scenario. He's a moderate Republican at best and only decided to choose a political party in 1996, so it can be changed.

However, what's going on with Vietnam? I'd think Johnson would still do the same thing that he did do.

Also, if there's no assassination, Rocky has a better chance of winning the Republican nomination. With that, he loses, and Goldy has a good chance in 1968. Was JFK made Vice-President? Also, how is Kennedy re-elected in 1980? He'd have to do an incredible job as President just to win 270 electoral votes.

I do not think Lyndon Johnson would have defeated Richard Nixon in 1960. He did not have the finesse and charm that JFK had - would not have had as much appeal in the Northeast, nor would he have stood Nixon up in the debates as much.
