Ford would probably gets elected to the House, then Governor. If he gets tapped for VP at all, then he would keep the same results in 1976

Reagan would never get involved in politics

Bush, Sr. would become a Senator and W. would be a businessman. If either of them tried to run for President, they would lose their home states (unless in 1980, 1984, 1988, etc.)

Obama probably gets elected to the House, Senate, and presidency with the same results as IRL.

Moving to California and being made GE's spokesman was what made him decide to go into politics. If he had stayed in Illinois, meaning that he never became a radio personality in Iowa or an actor in California, he would never have been approahced by GE and thus would never have gotten involved. To himself, however, he would still be a liberal until the day he died (GE helped him become a right-winger as well).

See, the problem is Stevenson was born in California, but his native state still was Illinois. The same goes for Kerry, who was not Colorado native.

However, Landon and Humphrey what if may be interesting.
