What is the possibility that Democrats hold on to all current seats, while picking up the seats in AK, NC, NH, MN, OR, GA, MS, KY, and also winning the open seats in VA, NM, & CO? Also, what do you think this would mean for the Republican Party in the upcoming years if it were to happen?

fivethirtyeight, for what it's forth, puts the odds of that at 9%. I think its actually a tad higher, maybe 15% since we've yet to see the effects of the supposed huge ad blitz Obama'll probably do in the last few days of the campaign.

If this happens, it would pretty much cede control of the Senate to the Dems for a good while.

It would doom our county until they get under a filibuster-proof majority, that's what would happen.

no seriously, it happened to me last night. I had a dream that it was November 5 and I had no idea how the election had turned out. I finally found my way to the TV, which stated that Obama had won a narrow victory. Note that in October of 2000, I had a dream where Bush won.
