Best Senate: Arkansas
Worst Senate: Oklahoma (despite me matching Inhofe at no5 in top 10 Senators but Coburn's a fruit)

Huh?  How can anyone possibly like Inhofe?

*Ahem*  Inhofe -Staunch Conservative on social issues.  Take a look at Oklahoma.  It's a lot different than SoCal.

First off, I'm a moderate (as most Southern Dems are).  I don't like Inhofe and completely disagree with his stance on environmental issues, but I am saying that Oklahomans are generally more conservative than Californians and will vote for an extreme social conservative like Inhofe.  That's all.

Best House:
Delaware
Connecticut
New Mexico

Caught my attention...

While I agree that NM has a pretty good House delegation - watching all of them and both Senators fighting for Cannon AFB is nice to see Smiley - I'm curious why you think so, way out there in PA. Wink

I don't know much about Pearce, but I generally agree with Udall, and Wilson is very sane for a Republican.

What do you think of Domenici and Bingaman?

Are you a Feingold fan?

You must be way more liberal than I thought if you think Bernie Sanders is a great congressman.

What don't you like about Bernie specifically?

He's a Socialist.  We need less of them in this country.

He's very pro-Affirmative Action, he received an F from the NRA, and he is anti-death penalty.   He also seems to support economic redistribution, which I'm not a big fan of.  In short he is just too liberal for my taste.

Whoa, whoa let's not get too excited.  No, I wouldn't approve of dealings with major corporations that involve taxpayer money in the form of kickbacks, but that's not economic redistribution.  I don't have a problem with limited assistance to the poor from the government, but they should also use that money to train for a job in addition to supporting their family.  They shouldn't live off of it.  Economically, we are not all equal.  I belive in competition not co-operation.

However, Congressman Sanders and I agree on some issues, notably his environmental policy and his opposition to Social Security, among other recent issues.

Don't fly off the handle.  Take a chill pill.

I'm not one of the more hardcore Feingold fans but he's o.k. i never forgave him for voting to confirm asscroft.

Do you think Ashcroft or Gonzales is better?
