I for one have felt the area where I'm from has never really fit in with the rest of the country and would be better off by itself. If a new nation was formed called the Scots-Irish Republic (due to the ancestry of the area) what would you think of it?

The northern boundary would be the 37th parallel and the southern boundary would be the 31st parallel. The eastern boundary would be the 82nd meridian and the western boundary would be the 104th meridian. The state capital would be Atlanta most likely and the president would be Bill Clinton.

Disclaimer: Before you try me for treason, this is just for fun.

That seems a bit of a square box to me. You add parts of Colorado and New Mexico while you don't included Virginia. I really should just be the CSA minus Florida and South Texas plus Kentucky and Oklahoma.
