Yeah, this has been really disappointing. He put a lot of effort into the application process and then did not follow through.
What abuot Big Daddy? He would be good. Last time my love and I spoke, he told me he was going to be around less and less on the forum at large. Otherwise, yeah, he was someone I wanted for AG. We went with BK because he had been so responsive during the application process, answering all the questions asked in a timely manner and even putting forward new ideas for the Wiki. Needless to say, I am really disappointed this happened. Yeah, I didn't get asked any questions.

Alright, alright.
Part of the plan, about 25%, is to get a job as soon as possible, but to make it as low key as possible. I don't want my realtor and bank to get word and cancel the short sale of the house because there is no longer a perceived hardship.
Ladies and gents, here is the reason he really quit his job and came back to Oklahoma. You can't have a short sale if you have gainful employment while living in another state. That makes sense. I didn't know what you had to prove to do a short sale. I thought it was just that you couldn't make the payments, which he cannot do. But I know nothing of his finances. But yeah, I could see his parents telling him he had to do that so they could sell his house. For short sale, you really gotta be in the area of foreclosure, and for the hardship you have to show loss of job, heath conditions (like if too sick to work) or loss of income to pay for it. So it make sense as to why he is back, to prove that he doesn't have an income. But he quit his job - I'm not sure with his circumstances he'll qualify for a short sale (and from the sound of it, he doesn't, if he's weighing the option of short sale vs. regular sale). I mean... Jeff, why do you need to get out from this house? If it's that bad, and you're not eligible for a short sale, don't commit fraud - just have the bank foreclose. That's if he even quit, and wasnt just let go prior to the yogurt slinging in the shed.

Interesting developments today. So, BushOK is so lazy that he is sending his personal information over an internet forum for someone to fill out an application for him? Am I reading this right?
Its not that I'm lazy, its just that he offered and I took him up on the offer. I've been doing some applying on my own in the past couple of hours, too. Jeff... you gave your personal information to someone you don't know on an internet forum, to fill out an application online for you.. and they don't work there. Please, tell us how you're not that lazy? What else could possibly be taking up your time, to where you just simply can not spend the time doing this? It's like having the direct tv people come out to hook it up in your room. Can you simply NOT just watch tv in the living room?

Bushie, if you will PM me your phone address etc, I will go on Target.com and apply for a job in metro OKC for you. Not as a favor to you. But for your parents. I feel bad for them.
I'm open to this. PM me exactly what you need and I'll reply to you this evening so you can go on there either this evening or tomorrow. Thanks, memphis! ....you can't go on targets website and apply yourself?

So, all of Bushie's family works for the goverfnment, either directly or indirectly? There's the key difference. Hope the sequester doesn't make them all homeless. If so, maybe they're know what "smaller government" means for them in the future.
I'm more concerned about my brother being still in Active Duty Navy. He only has 16 months until retirement, but we're concerned that the sequester and coming military cuts will force him out of the Navy prematurely and thus cost him his retirement and get nothing in return for nearly 20 years of service. I don't think Congress would be that cruel, but you never know, they care more about themselves than our military. They're going to toss out the newbies and maybe limit new service members. He's fine. That's what I believe will happen, but Congress can be unpredictable and cold-hearted, at times, so there's always a little concern. Thanks, Obama!

The problem is, BushOK thinks he is entitled to some high paying, high skilled job, and does not want to put in the work to get back to the type of job he had at ONG. The more jobs he quits, the further and further he gets from ever achieving that goal.
I thought the job at the natural gas company was a bottom level office clerk job.As for Grumps Walmart idea - I think it is definitely better to do nothing than to go to Walmart. We don't want a suicide on our hands. Gotta start somewhere. I've worked my ass off the past 18 months to get where I am at this job. I didn't ask for raises or anything. With hard work, comes rewards. Really? What rewards? I think had he just stayed it would have been enough, no? Job security, raises, promotions. That's what I've been doing, and been getting.

I do really miss a proper sandwich - obviously there are no good sandwiches in Thailand. But Subway is not good. Over here I do get the very rare sandwich fix in Laos and Cambodia: I just had a Bahn Mi yesterday when I went to go get Vietnamese. It was pretty good too.
