About Me
|
I am an Italian living in France, or an Italian-born French, as you prefer.  Since I was 4, I have been living with my family in the western suburbs of Paris. I am currently in my third year as an undergraduate at Sciences Po, a major french university for political science. I'm spending this year as an exchange student at University of San Francisco.

My Interests
|
Politics are, by far, my main interest. I enjoy every aspect of them: debating about policy and ideology, following electoral "horseraces" and political developments, analyzing electoral results, studying institutions, etc. I'm particularly well-versed in French, Italian and American polititics, but I try to keep in touch with as many countries as possible.
On this forum, I have started a couple projects ranging from Alternate History timelines to electoral data collection, but nothing really came to fruition due to my tendency of being lazy.  I try to give constructive contributions to the political debate, but I'll admit I rarely succeed.
Apart from politics, I like social sciences in general, from history to economics or sociology, though I'm not nearly as good at them. I try to read essays dealing with this kind of stuff, but I'm pathetically slow at it. Apart from that, I also watch TV series (mainly police procedurals) or movies. I also very occasionally play videogames.
I don't listen to music as much as some people, but still quite a bit. My favorite band is probably R.E.M., followed by the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and The Who. I don't practice any sports regularly, but sometimes I enjoy bicycle, ski or swimming.
