So far, this looks like the most suspensful of the Gov. races.

Maybe if you were less partisan, you would get more votes.

This whole election is partisan. I try for Progressive votes, I say nice things about you, praise your party, but when it all comes down to it party labels are what count.

Not always. For example, if I had to choose between a non-existent member of the board versus a Republican - I sure bet as hell will vote for the Republican. You give up to quickly. Beside, I honesly don't remember you saying anything good about the Progressive Party. If you have, sorry that I did not notice.

(New York City, New York)

(PBrunsel walks onto stage as crowds cheer and a band plays “God Bless America.”)

PBrunsel: I came here today to talk about the Progressive Party. It is in my opinion that I say they are positive to the nation.

(Applause)

PBrunsel: Though my opinions and its may clash on some issues, they are a major force in national and district politics, and they need to be treated as such.

(Cheers!)

PBrunsel: In the July elections, I suspect the Progressive Party candidate will do very well, and then they will be able to cement their reputation as a national party!

(Cheers and applause)

PBrunsel: I condemn any legislation that will try to keep the Progressive Part down. It is a party that has been, and needs to be continually, recognized as a major party in the forum.

(Cheers)

PBrunsel: In 1912, Theodore Roosevelt was the Progressive Nominee. In 1924 it was “Battling Bob” LaFollette. In 1948 it was Henry A. Wallace. This party has a history that needs to be honored and a future that looks bright.

(Cheers and applause)

PBrunsel: I look forward to the remainder of this tour in witch I hope I can have the support of the Progressive Party.

(Cheers and applause as PBrunsel shakes hands, kisses babies, and leaves the stage waving. Greenwood’s “I’m Proud to Be an American” plays as PBrunsel leaves the hall. Next Stop: Atlantic City, New Jersey.)

Like I said. Not always Smiley But Thank You for the nice words. By the way, ilikeverin is our Progressive candidate and he is an active member of this forum, and so are you. But if I had to pick someone, I would endorse ilikeverin because he is one of the first members of our great party - the Progressive party. What my comment was aimed at really was your endorsement of Justin for the Northeast senator seat. Justin has been virtually non-existent and it is obvious you are voting base on party labels. How can you endorse a candidate that has not been active in the board? These next months are very crucial times for the creation of our great nation. What does it says about a person who endores a non-active member of the forum for a Senate seat? That is why if I could, I would vote for ilikeverin because I am confident he will bring progress to the Midwest over party labels. Grin

PBrunsel,

You are not going to get many Progressive votes touring around with a portrait of Herbert Hoover!

I read several of Justin's posts and I agreed with many. But I do agree that he is not an active poster, so I delete my endorsement of him.

The Progressives should like Herbert Hoover. Hoover was a Progrtessive who campaigned for Theodore Roosevelt in 1912.

That's very interesting...I did not know that!
Next you'll be telling me Goldwater campaigned for Henry Wallace.  Of course, Hillary campaigned for Goldwater, so nothing would be too surprising.

Hillary Clinton's parents were Republicans, so they supported Goldwater in 1964.
