Why do both Sumar and Podemos exist as separate entities? I’m just not very well versed in this.
Classic disease of the Spanish Left; the lower they are in the polls, the more parties they divide themselves into.

If the Catalan Alliance wins seats next week then Catalonia will have a Spanish and a local version of the far left (Comuns/CUP), left (PSOE/ERC), right (PP/Junts), and far right (VOX/AC) represented in parliament.

I also noticed today that AC's logo is a total knock off of the Tory logo.

Turnout in Nationalist strongholds (Vic, Ripoll, Igualada etc) up by just 2-4% while urban Unionist municipalities (L'Hospitalet, Santa Coloma, Badalona etc) are up by 5-7%.

Some results from a couple tiny municipalities have been reported.

AC finished first in Les Llosses which is next door to Ripoll. I think they will shock everyone and win 5-6 seats tonight.

So far they do not. 2 seats from Girona and 1 from Lleida
They're currently under the 3% threshold in Barcelona which locks them out of 2-3 seats.

Don't rule out the possibility of a pro corruption PSC-Junts pact.

CERA vote was overwhelmingly PSC in the last general election. I think it's done.

AC missed the 3% threshold in Barcelona by about 2.5k votes (0.12% of the vote). Had they passed the threshold they would've taken 2 seats, 1 from PSC and 1 from PP.

What is the CERA vote? Votes from abroad? Could that allow PSC to take back that close seat from PP?
Expat votes. No there won't be enough votes to overturn a 10k+ advantage.

Another important milestone. This is the first time since 1984 Nationalist parties do not win a majority of seats.

Why does Sanchez's enemies persist in giving him free shots at an open goal?
