Ok, big shakeup.  I know the short list for VP, but no one has been chosen yet.

Ok, Alcon has announced Peter Bell as the new Vice President.  This opens up the Governor spot, with Joe Republic as the Lt. Governor I assume he will take the job.

This is the constitutional directive, yes.

Well he hasn't taken the oath, so he could still refuse the job.

Ok, he deleted the thread, but myself and several others have screenshots of it.  I don't know how this is going to play out, although we will have to see how the election plays out to see if it really matters.

Senator Senator Chief of Staff Mike "Floydbuster" Naso Jr. has resigned.  We will need to hold a special election.

You need to grow the hell up. Can't you just be happy with his resignation without all this personal stuff?

Personal stuff?

But feel no hurry to change it. Wink

You've got to stop electing him to office then!

It seems that Gabu is the most liberal member of the Senate and an Independent.  (Could this be Bernie Sanders making a test run?)
Gabu's the most liberal member of the Senate? Damn, how things have changed...

I don't know, MAS might beat Gabu out.  Still, the point is valid.

Mid-Western Region - Cheesewhiz (Lib-NE)

I believe Ilikeverin is the Midwest's Lt. Governor.

Why do you believe that?

StatesRights is the Lt. Gov. of the Southeast, and he's also a Loony.

I thought Brandon H. was.

Ok, some minor changes ahead of the Gubernatorial race this weekend.  Note that we remain without a Treasury Secretary, that can't be good for the economy....

Senate (Seats listed as "A" are concurrent with the Presidential election, Seats listed as "B" are midterm election seats.  Next midterm election will be weekend of August 19th)

District 1A - ColinW (U-PA)
District 1B - Supersoulty (Free-PA)
District 2A - MAS117 (U-NJ)
District 2B - PBrunsel (ACA-IA)
District 3A - MasterJedi (ACA-WI)
District 3B - King (Loony-VT)
District 4A - Sam Spade (U-LA)
District 4B - Cosmo Kramer (Free-AR)
District 5A - Daniel X (ACA-CO)
District 5B - Gabu (I-UT)

It may soon be time to change the format on how these Senators are listed in accordance with recent changes, sort of along these lines:

Northeast District -ColinW (U-PA)
Mideast District -MasterJedi (ACA-WI)
Southeast District -SamSpade (U-LA)
Midwest District -DanielX (ACA-CO)
Pacific District -FuturePrez (U-AZ)

1st District -Supersoulty (F-PA)
2nd District -PBrunsel (ACA-IA)
3rd District -King (Loony-VT)
4th District -Cosmo Kramer (F-AR)
5th District -Gabu (I-UT)

Supersoulty resigned, King is part of the Union Party, and D1 should be shown as vacant for right now but will probably be MHS (U-VA).

Yeah, I haven't updated in a few weeks.  I'll change it when the new Senators and President are sworn in I guess.

I realize this, but details aside, this should be the format that should be followed for now on when listing office-holders in the Senate -the system of having senators elected from districts designated by a number and then by either an 'A' or a 'B' is no longer in use.

Thats true, but the new Regional senators haven't taken office yet, so technically the system isn't in effect yet.

And the conditions are that I haven't been in the mood to do so yet.  Seriously, I expect to update shortly after all the Cabinet confirmations are complete.
