According to sources, fourteen-term Congressman Malcolm Kirkland (R-WY), known as "The People's Cowboy", may be considering running for President in the general election under the banner of the Libertarian Party.

"Kirkland is dissatisfied with Ted Little and Noah Silverhawk," an aide says, referring to the Democratic and Republican nominees, "And the selection of Quinn Matsunaga, the Secretary of Homeland Security, just proves that Governor Silverhawk will be taking away our precious celestial article of freedom."

Kirkland previously considered running under the LP ticket in 1992, but decided to endorse the then Republican President instead.
