Guess it's a question of perspective & choice of narrative method ...
... and that, by the way, is also one of the reasons why none of Eric Hobsbawm's books has been turned into a succesful Broadway musical so far.

Bastien-Thiry
That's awful to say but Jaurès' death didn't change anything (not only for international relations, as Jaurès couldn't have stopped the war alone; but also and even to French socialism, as he would have been sidelined anyway).
Of course, de Gaulle was safe, so it didn't change anything either. But it could have, really, if Bastien-Thiry had succeeded.

Raoul Villain 4
Jean-Marie Bastien-Thiry 3

The man who kill Jean Jaurès is out.
It was a close round and the turnout was with 8 on a low level
Maybe it's on weekend better
fab, it's true that the death of Jean Jaurès nothing changes, but i voted for Villain because he was just a piece of crap. On the other hand, he wasn't convicted and free after the trial. This does not exactly speak for the French justice at this time.
