Can Allen West win? He barely got any funding from the NRCC and was heavily out spent. Yet he only lost by 54.7% to 45.3%. The district is D+1 and it is on the NRCC list for targeted seats(then again which seats aren't). Can Allen West win?

I think he might be able to win in a moderate republican year, but I'm not sure.

Oh and if you didn't know West is black, and he would be the only black GOP Rep(maybe)?

Klein could potentially lose in a major wave, since this district is so polarized (52-48 for Gore, Kerry, and Obama) that it's hard for a major party nominee to not hit 45%, at least in a Presidential year. But West would have to do much better in fundraising, given Klein's $2 million on hand as of the second quarter.

If Klein loses, Democrats have probably already lost the House.

Yes, I think West can win if there is a Republican wave next year and Johnny is right.  His fund raising needs to kick up a notch.
