Daggett would have my first preference if this were IRV but America's electoral system being what it is I guess I'd hold my nose and vote Corzine. I'm not really a fan of his but I don't understand why exactly he's considered to be so horrible or why Christie is all that great. Still, glad its not a vote I have to make.

Word, I would hate to be a New Jersey voter (almost as much as I hate being an Oklahoma voter, gawddamn ballot access laws).

Yeah, why are Oklahoma's ballot access laws so crappy towards independents and third parties?

1912 Presidential Election, Oklahoma

Wilson, Dem, 46.9%
Taft, Rep, 35.8%
Debs, Socialist   16.4%
Chafin, Prohib, 0.8%

Yep

Yep

Somehow, even if balloting laws were relaxed, I sincerely doubt that Oklahoma would ever give that many votes to a Socialist ever again.  Tongue

Definitely.
The failure of the Green Corn Rebellion and the "great white terror" pretty much doomed the Socialist Party in Oklahoma.

Nonetheless, the political elites in Oklahoma do seem terrified by the possibility. I think they even banned the red flag for a while - maybe it's still illegal.

Daggett just to spice things up.

Not just to spice things up. New Jersey, as a state, is royally screwed. They can't run from one bad Governor to another likely bad Governor without any executive experience or ability to work properly with the Democratic legislature... Oh wait, I guess no matter who New Jersey votes for, they are screwed.

Smiley I'm still rooting for Dagget. The two-party system has been perilous enough to this democracy. We must avoid it at all opportunities.

Christie, no questions asked. However, in 2013, we will all be seeing Governor Booker.

I'm voting for Christie... time to give the NJ GOP a crack at it.

Good for you.
