read what i wrote dude you obviously missed the whole point

I got the point. You went out of your way to shamelessly attack two very fine writers.

i just get tired of reading these self-rightous, pretentious ppl i mean come on its alternate history its his story let him tell cut the dude some slack i mean for these people who are dogging him there still reading it lol

I suggest that you cut Dallasfan and Hantheguitarman some slack, I mean come on, it is just an alternate history story, right?

Bullsh**t. Most people here is respectful of one another, with exceptions. And when we are not, most of us aren't mean-spirited and do it as a joke.

Yes, the concept of Herbert Clark Hoover allowing progressive policies to ensue, that would ultimately have ramifications upon the rest of the world was far fetched but I wasted a lot of time and effort in that thing, so only Xahar and I can critique it!

No I am not down playing his segregationits views, he really wasnt a segregationist, he was an opportunist, you obviously know nothing about Wallaces political history. In 1958 he was a curcuit judge from Barbour county and made the run-off for Governor, running against Attorney General John Patterson, the Sunday before the run-off the Ku Klux Klan bought the front page of the Birmingham News and endorsed John Patterson. The next night, on monday, Wallace went on Alabama Public Television and denounced the Klan and proclaimed that segregation was an evil  institution and said it was time for all Alabamians black and white to come together, and the next night Patterson trounced him. Wallace drove to his campaign headquarters stepped out of his Lincoln lit a cigar and said "well boys i'll never be out n------- again" and four years later he said "segregation today segragation tomorrow segregation forever", you see Wallace was the protoge of Governor James E. "Big Jim" Folsom a racial moderate, and progressive, so you what you dont under stand is if Wallace hadnt have used the segreation platform HE WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN GOVERNOR OF ALABAMA, and therefore he would have never had a national platform, GEEZ!!!

Okay, so what I gathered from that attempt at a sentence was...

It is impossible for a politician to get elected from the South, without making a grand-standing speech on segregation?

I haven't found Sparkman's.

For the record, if you like to cut some slack to an
18 y/o lil boy
then you would do well to check mine and Han's profile ages.

(Not that I was actually "offended." Usually, for a statement to offend me, it has to be an actual sentence.)

You know, mathematical age isn't eally matter. Just look at people like Barnes, Xahar, Hashemite, NiK, Tmthforu, Ben, Han... they all are above 18 but are mature intelectually and mentally.

And we have older posters who are acting like childs.

For a 33-year old, you seem unable to write a coherent sentence, let alone a paragraph. I suggest you learn to write before lecturing others. Thanks.

No, what I wrote was Wallace would have never been Governor of Alabama if it had not been for segregation, so therefore he would have never had a stage to try and fullfill his national ambitions.

And Senator John Sparkman voted against over 100 civil rights bills while in the Senate, and he was in very trouble early on in his 1966 re-election bid because he was not a vocal segregationist, in fact Wallace almost ran against because of that.
