A lot depends on constituency, but LibDems almost everywhere in England, Mebyon Kernow in Cornwall (except in St Ives where I'd vote LibDem), SDLP in NI, SNP in Scotland and Plaid in most of Wales.

I have absolutely no idea.  I'm guessing I wouldn't fit too well with Labour (as if I'd fit well with anybody), but have no dislike or animosity towards them.  If I did, would it matter anyway?

Lib Dems, though the best result would be a hung parliament.

That's more or less a win for the Lib Dems. Nick Clegg will be the most powerful man in the country for a while, should there be a hung parliament.

Liberal Democrats  47%

Conservative Party:  38%

Labour Party:  33%

I have been a Labour supporter since at least the 2001 election (aka Foot in Mouth Election). This time though, I think Cameron is a good candidate compared to the morons his party has nominated before. If David Miliband were the Labour leader, I'd support Labour more enthusiastically. Cameron will be a huge improvement over Thatcher and, I'm assuming, Major (I know very little about him).

What I recall from 2005, is that outside of Cornwall and Scotland, voting for the Lib Dems just lets the Tories win. I would vote Labour if I was in England, but would vote Lib Dem if I thought they could win my constituency.

Wtf, that vote thing had UKIP and the Greens neck and neck (admittedly in the 50s) with Lib Dems in 3rd in the high 40s....Labour at 21%, Tories at 19%.

I really need to know more about UK policies and issues before i take these things I guess....had to say open mind or skip for a whole lot.

While I support the Tories, I don't really like how 'artificial' and 'custom-designed' David Cameron appears to be.

Yeah, that's the first thing I noticed about him when I discovered who he was. And he's not helping matters by being excessively vague all the time ("I'll cut the deficit, not the NHS"). That, and those airbrushed posters of him... Tongue

If he does in fact lose, I think that it will be possible to link him to Tom Dewey, and the entire election to 1948.

I'll admit, the high Conservative percentage is a bit startling! Wink
