He sold our gold at record low prices, he put cannabis back up to Class B, he was a general screw-up as Chancellor and he supports Blair's foreign policy.

Effective PM, one of those leaders who really dealed with crisis. Poor in election policies, however, esspecially his decision to not call earlier election after becoming PM.

Yes! That was arguabley his worst decision as PM. Although I imagine any Labour minority government elected in 2007 would've been torn down beyond existance when the banks crashed in 2008.
