A great first governor for a great state!!
A few things:
a) William H. Murray was the
ninth
governor of Oklahoma
b) "Alfalfa Bill", unless you're an authoritarian, was not by any means great. Hell, he liked him some
martial law
and
(gasp) fascism (literally).
c) Have you gone mad?

3 votes for a Murican hero.
I wonder who else voted FF beside BushOK and probably Libertas (zozmg, Murray hated FDR, and that makes him a libertarian)?

While I think this poll's option 2 overstates the case, he certainly earns the standard HP option.

^^^^ What I was about to say
...and to Mech: just disregard him.
And William "Alfalfa Bill" Murray was, of course, a massive HP.

Clearly the solution is to privatize presidential elections.
So, in less than four years, get excited for the 2016 MetLife Financial U Pick The Prez Extravaganza. If you tweet a picture of your completed ballot with the hashtag #ivoted, you could win a trip for two to the inauguration or an iTunes gift card.

Wow, it's kind of amazing reading about sane politicians elected to the Senate from states that are totally insane now, like this guy, Frank Church of Idaho, and Ralph Yarborough of Texas.
