This seat has a great chance of switching over.

Excellent news! He appears to be the strongest candidate available, and considering his track record in margins, will do well.

This could be where the Democrats lose the Senate. Oh well. It's not like they did much with the Senate anyways.

It will be a close race, Tester is a good fit for the state and has what it takes to hold his own.

Rehberg for Senate and Hill for Governor.
Given their laughable bench, the MT GOP lucked out.

I don't see how someone who sides with Harry Reid and Barack Obama over 90% of the time on Senate votes is a good fit for a state as conservative as Montana. Perhaps he's a good fit for the Montana Democratic Party, but not for the state as a whole.

Yea, they definately did secure their best bets for both races. Now they need someone to fill Rehberg's shoes in the House. Daines might have potential but I am sure the House primary will be heated, especially with Denny scaring them out of the Senate primary. There aren't many opportunities in a state like this and so you you got two full houses in the state legislatures with several people in each iching to move on up to the east side.

He's popular, somewhat moderate, and likeable. This should be a fun race to watch. It should also be a very close race, PPP had Rehberg up 2 vs. Tester in November.

I love how Tester is "moderate" again. Wasn't he a Progressive Hero not too long ago? This guy can't make up his mind.

I'll give you credit, the guy is very likeable and popular, which will give him a good chance at winning this. It should be another fun, western race to watch.

From what I've read, he's does his job right and that equals being a good fit in any state. He's basically a populist and that tends to transcend many labels.

Rehberg is one of the most conservative members of congress. I'm surprised that Ajc/Red/Tmth aren't falling over each other to proclaim what an awful "teabagger" he is.

And let's not get into the fact that he's a member of the Tea Party Caucus. You know, the one
Michele Bachmann
started.

Kos loved him because he was authentic, confident, unapologetically a Democrat, and from Montana, not necessarily because he was going to vote like Bernie Sanders.

Well, definitely maybe. Not much less likely than R+1 in the Senate, anyhow.
