There are several results for Comptroller races in Washington State.

Washington State doesn't have the position of Comptroller, and the persons and elections featured seem to be entirely fictional. Please remove that entry. I'm used to being able to trust the Atlas, and mentioning this election made the person from Washington I had a discussion with very confused and me very embarrassed.

That is... weird.

I haven't read the article, but I firmly support Simfan's efforts to blame Lena Dunham for our society's rot.

All the ones except the 2008 General Election one appear, using a google search, to be the election for Commissioner of Public Lands. The 2008 General Election looks to be a test, seeing that the source for popular vote data is Test, Test, Test.

Well, but it's been there for over two years. That's enough for a test.

I always navigate the election results over (I can't post links)

uselectionatlas/results/state dot php ? and then year=0 & off=99 & elect = 0 & fips = [the fips of the state I want, like 53 for WA] & f= 0.

That turns up a page with all elections that USElectionatlas has for that state, and for WA it is a huge bunch of elections (much more than for most states), including State Comptroller going back to 1984.

There's no upload option for Commissioner of Public Lands, and Dave did not respond to our request for it, so we were using Comptroller General instead.

Alcon, for reasons I don't completely understand, removed the CoPL data for 2008 and added fake names and data instead.

I'm pretty sure I used 2008 for a test before we had CPL uploaded, because otherwise I could have used another fictional office.  In any case, I can replace it with 2008 CPL data later today.  bgwah is right, though; we use Comptroller for CPL.

Atlas is infallible; there is a bizarre error in reality.
