Statement on Saudi Arabia Becoming a Major Non-NATO Ally
"The Department of External Affairs is proud to officially recognize Saudi Arabia as a Major Non-NATO Ally of Atlasia. Although we have concerns about Saudi Arabia's human rights situation, in light of the recent Iranian nuclear test we feel it is pragmatic and necessary to strengthen our ties with the Kingdom. With current signs of liberalization, such as allowing women to vote and run in elections, we believe the Kingdom is moving down the path to reform, and are happy to today recognize their progress by conferring upon them this status. We shall be using this better connection with the Kingdom to encourage further progress in the areas of women's rights, political and press freedoms, and religious freedom specifically and human rights in general. We also reaffirm Egypt's status as a MNNA."

Statement to the Syrian Delegation to Atlasia
Syrian Charge d'Affaires Zuheir Jabbour has been declared
persona non grata
and has been given 72 hours to leave Atlasia. Atlasia shall not accept the diplomatic credentials of any representative appointed to replace him until the Syrian government shows it is serious about a meaningful ceasefire and is willing to commit to genuine negotiations.

Extension of Nuclear Umbrella
The Republic of Atlasia has decided to guarantee the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Turkey, the State of Israel, and the Arab Republic of Egypt that the Republic of Atlasia shall defend them if they are attacked by nuclear weapons.

defend them how? Do we have an anti-ballistic missile program capable of this?

If Iran attacks them via nuclear means, we shall take action to defend their nation; we are currently working on such an anti-ballistic missile program in conjunction with the Israelis (Arrow 3).
