Do you guys really want to elect someone who thinks Orly Taitz should be a United States Senator? Smiley

Did you look at the caveat on that endorsement? I wasn't impressed with the others in that race.

Gee, we only have 24 people to choose from.

The Mideast would be lucky to have 18 voters in actual election. Tongue

We had 15 voters in the last Assembly & Gubernatorial election. Granted, that's rather high for the Mideast but there is still room to improve. opebo and Cathcon, for example, did not vote even though they often do, and now we also have wormyguy in the Mideast. Since the next election will be held at the same time as the election for President, I think 18 voters are not out of reach.

Hmmm.... about two-thirds of the Mideast's residents, many of whom haven't been active in Atlasia in a while, seem to have shown up to vote in this poll for some reason Tongue

Contraversial views tend to do that. We need the activity in the Mideast to make this a good game correct?

I'm not disagreeing that we need activity in the Mideast for the game to be successful, just questioning how many of the 18 people who voted in this really are Mideasterners considering a recent approval/disapproval poll for the same office had 5 voters, an approval/disapproval poll for the governor had only two voters (though that may be because he's retiring anyway so no one bothered to vote), and a regional restructuring proposal poll only had 7 Mideast voters.

I simply think we don't need to restructure the regions at this time.

This is why I sometimes question the wisdom of even having polls anymore...

There are probably some fake voters in this poll, i.e. voters who are not registered citizens in the Mideast, which may be due to the attention JCL's allegedly horrible views have received (though if you actually put aside your black-white perspective and bother to look more carefully at JCL's views  you will notice that they are much more moderate than some of his opponents would like to suggest). Anyway, the poll result as such is probably not very far away from the truth - this will be a close race and must be considered a toss-up at this point.
