24 May 2024Greg Lynn, a Jetstar pilot, is currently on trial in the Victorian Supreme Court.
"Prosecutors argue he murdered Carol Clay, 73, and Russell Hill, 74, at a remote campsite on the evening of March 20, 2020."https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-05-25/greg-lynn-trial-week-two/103891578They were missing for years with no suspect.
Then Police cleverly put some metadata together to piece together his movements, in particular whilst in his car, around the times of the victim's disappearance.
Greg Lynn is accused of murdering Carol Clay and Russell Hill in Victoria's high country in 2020. (Facebook)He never came forward, repainted his car, tried to sell it he basically did exactly what someone who had murdered two people would do.
He is then alleged to have moved the bodies 6 months later and burnt them.
He initially denied any knowledge of their murder. Then when presented with strong evidence to the contrary, he has started changing his story.
So then he has admitted to accidentally killing them. Then shooting them in the head.
I wonder if the jury takes into account the fact that he only tells the truth when his lies are proven wrong. Then he reveals a new 'truth', and so on.
