In addition to condoms, should organizations be allowed to give out lubricant to students to promote safe sex in public schools?

That might be a bit much, don't you think?

It would be terrible if some poor boy had his penis catch on fire due to all the friction.

Now you've got it.  Michael Jackson was just way ahead of the game.

Doesn't really count, but at my college, they're not only giving away free condoms and lubricant this week, but vaginal condoms and wipes!!!

So for those of you voting no, you are saying that these organizations should be telling students "It's OK to have safe sex, but only if you're heterosexual" ?

Any "youth" who lacks the money, and most importantly, the wherewithal, to purchase his own prophylactics either online or in person at the drugstore lacks the maturity to have sex at all.

Lubing up your penis is not exactly going to stop the spread of STDs.

Of course they should.  Anal sex is a common practice and while it is possible to do it without lubricant, it is no doubt uncomfortable, and can lead to condom breakage.  Even vaginal sex can lead to condom breakage if the girl is not sufficiently self-lubricating.

Personally I always carry a tube of KY with me when hobbying.  Even though I do not use the condom, it is advisable for the anal fan.

The rationale behind schools that have this policy is essentially that if students feel that condoms are uncomfortable or unpleasurable, they should use lubricant to enhance the experience instead of having unprotected sex.

Heck no!  Neither should condoms - it's not the school's job to waste money on that - if a private organization donates it, I don't care.  But a public school shouldn't do that - especially not in MI, where we're broke.

As stated, organizations come in for free to do this, at no cost to the school.

I'll send the pregnant teen with HIV to your doorstep to fund her abortion.  I'll tell her to tell you that she was broke.

My college did (along with condoms). I don't know if high schools do, nor do I care really.

Good Heavens, what's next, vibrators and blow up dolls?  I'm all for heading folks in the right direction and being open about it, but come on......Lubricants?  Besides, if the girl needs lube you must not be turning her on enough.

Didn't mean to hurt anyones ego but..........

What about homosexuals?  Lubricant is strongly recommended for anal intercourse.

Though my bi-roommate said he'll just use spit...

Condoms promote safe-sex, lube promotes "better" sex. You'll admit it's possible to have anal intercourse without lube, just uncomfortable. It, however, it not possible to have safe sex without using some type of birth control, condoms are the cheapest/easiest. Big difference, and enough to disqualify it from public funding in my eyes.

Depends on what grade of lubricant.  Are you talking 5W-20 or 20W-50?

Nope.  I'd like to plan some cheap laisons with the women here, but they all tend to be into tribadism.

Sure. Why not? They should also think about giving out pornography.
