Wow. Who is she ? I thought this was Palin herself. Even the woman who played Eiffel looked like the real moderator. Only Biden is hard to double.

She's really good, I liked the "marriage is a sacred institution between unwilling teenagers."

Palin is played by Tina Fey (former SNL'er).  Ifill was played by Queen Latifah.

That was really good, and Fey was totally brilliant (Queen Latifah wasn't half bad either)

I kind of loved Biden's opening line about McCain.

Yeah, it was good, if a little longwinded.

Fey could have walked onto the real debate stage instead of Palin and I wouldn't have noticed the difference

If they could have found someone who can do a decent Biden impression, this skit would have been epic.  Still really funny though.

It's the same thing every four years with SNL.  The republican is an clumsy airhead with rocks in his/her head, the Democrat is a dull but smart blowhard.

Can't these guys come up with something new.

WSW: Welcome!

I think those two stereotypes are the dominant ones for the two characters, having nothing to do with SNL.  Except for Biden's last comment, all of Tina Fey's lines were pretty much exaggerated copies of things Palin actually said during the debate.  Much like the last SNL skit about the Couric interview actually copied some of Palin's lines word-for-word to make a subtle point.

That said, it's just comedy yo, appreciate it.  Political tensions get wound up sometimes and it's good to have a laugh.

The guy doing Biden obviously isn't trying to do a Biden impression like Fey is doing a Palin impression. But he's hilarious nonetheless.

Best Fey as Palin moments:

Palin: "Can I call you Joe?"
Biden: "Sure."
Palin: "OK cause I practiced a couple of zingers where I call you Joe!"

Palin: "I'm going to ignore that question and talk about Israel..."
