Just because he claims he doesn't want to talk about it anymore, doesn't mean he won't.  He wanted to break off the affair, and well we know how that turned out....

Is Sanford really dumb and reckless enough to actually use state funds for his long distance trysts?  If so, color me absolutely amazed. If he did, he needs to spend a few months in jail.

I predicted as much.  Sanford is too stubborn to resign, and the Assembly won't impeach him for just adultery, which while it is still a crime on the books, apparently hasn't been used in over a century.

Besides, since he said he was shutting up, he's stayed shut up.
