Incumbnet Bob Ehrlich (R) with 47% vs. Martin O'Malley (D) at 42%. If the Democratic nominee is Doug Duncah, Ehrlich increases his lead to 50% to 41%.

The telephone survey of 500 Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports January 10, 2006. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 4.5 percentage points at the midpoint with a 95% level of confidence
