Interviewing took place on weekday nights and weekend days between May 9 and 16, 2010. Interviews took an average of 19 minutes to complete. The sampling error for the total of 2,003 adults is ±2 percent at the 95 percent confidence level. This means that 95 times out of 100, the results will be within 2 percentage points of what they would be if all adults in California were interviewed.
