 By: Josh22 (R-NC) - 2007-12-30 @ 09:43:31

Democrats Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama beat Republicans Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani in those theoretical match-ups. Clinton beat fellow New Yorker Giuliani 46 percent to 36 percent and Romney 47 percent to 35 percent; Obama topped Giuliani 44 percent to 36 percent while besting Romney 48 percent to 29 percent. The remaining respondents were undecided with about 11 months until the general election.

The scientific statewide telephone poll of 600 randomly selected Wisconsin adults was conducted Dec. 2-3, 2007 for WisPolitics.com by Diversified Research. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points; the margin of error for categories of respondents is higher.
