SurveyUSA interviewed 725 New Jersey adults 10/11/08 and 10/12/08. Of the adults, 655 were registered to vote. Of the registered voters, 551 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely voters in the 11/04/08 general election. New Jersey has 15 Electoral College votes. John Kerry carried New Jersey by 7 points in 2004; Al Gore carried the state by 16 points in 2000.
