Well now, this is a fascinating way to get to the horror scenario known as 269-269.

But I submit that if the President wins SC, then he also wins NC, GA, FL MO and a slew of other states as well.

Why would this be a horror scenario? The next step is clearly defined by the constitution. But you're right, this scenario won't happen. There are much more likely tie scenarios.
